The State of Qatar celebrates World Environment Day every year on June 5th. In 2020, the day was celebrated under the slogan 'celebrating biodiversity'. On this occasion, the Supreme Committee of Delivery & Legacy released a video showcasing the sustainable design, construction, and everyday management of all eight FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadiums. The video highlights the green spaces around the stadiums, public transport options, and renewable energy solutions.
